Long Weekend

What do you mean I can't write that on the blog, Mom? Maybe somebody out there will know how to get the sand out.
Well, anyway we spent our weekend down at the beach and then back at home with our cousins JC Jackson, and Lena.
We had perfect weather as you can see.
Hey, two against one isn't fair.
Me and Jack have the same uniform on, so we have to be on the same team.

Then it was back to home for some more fun.
 Water sports, oh boy!
 Bulkhead climbing.
 Popsicle eating!

Can't you warm this up in the micro, Mom!
That's better.
What a great weekend, next week off to Storyland.
See you all soon.
BTW, before you send me an email telling me how to remove the sand, the vacuum isn't an option.

The Fishing Derby

Hi all, my Saturday started at the crack of dawn, because everyone knows that's when you get the best fish.
Things didn't start out so well, somebody took my worms. I put them right in here, next to the pizza. At first I thought Ryan had eaten them.
But Mom had already packed them in my bag, thank goodness Ryan just had an old sandwich.
Once we got all the gear loaded up we were off to the Sportsman Club.
After checking in we walked out to the lake and set up the gear and waited for the horn to start the derby.
I caught my first fish within minutes of the horn.
A quick celebration and it was right back in the water with another worm. Of course I had to be convinced to keep going because the fish flopped around so much, I didn't think we should catch another.
Grandad and Grampy assurred me that no harm would come to the fish. So on I went, three more big ones. The biggest being 141/2" long.
Ryan said he would cook them up for dinner, so much for the no "harm" part I guess.
See you all next week.
Love Jack and Ryan

PS. A special thanks to Tom for getting the worms. And to Mike Johnson for getting the pics of Grampy, Grandad and me fishing.

Happy Easter

That's it Ryan, do it like I showed you, no goofing around this time. Happy Easter everybody. We got new shades, don't we look styling?

We also got lots of chocolate!
Ryan gets a little off the wall when he has had to much chocolate. I on the other hand, handle it just fine. So feel free to get me some.
We went for a early breakfast today, and then to feed the ducks.
And then off to the playground behind the Miller school.
Ryan has a hard time keeping up. Maybe too much chocolate.
See you all next week.

Sunday Road Trip

Hello all, We thought we would do a Sunday morning blog, because we don't get a lot of pictures to work with. So this Sunday we went to breakfast with Grammie and Grandad.
I showed Ryan where all the coloring books were and we both ordered our pancakes. Ryan really wanted coffee, but he didn't get his wish, Grandad is stingy in the morning.
I drew two pictures, and ate my whole pancake.

Then it was off to find the ducks to feed.
Nothing at this spot, maybe over there!
We finally found some at the cemetery. Well, not exactly ducks, but they enjoyed the bread we had anyway.
What Sunday morning wouldn't be complete without a trip to the cemetery.
Look at all the dead people, how much fun is that!

A Day With Grammie

No Ryan! I gave you a chance last week. And you changed the title page. Hi everyone, Grammie took care of us on Saturday, so we got some pics to work with. Good job Grammie, not too fuzzy,
First we raked leaves, they must of been left over from last year because I don't see any leaves on the trees.
Yup, this looks like last years model.
Ryan's is not interested in cleaning up the yard, he just sits around and watches.
Is this a leave, Jack? If not I will eat it.
After all the hard work we had a little picnic. the fresh air is nice. I have almost forgot about all the snow.
Ryan seemed to like the fresh air too.
Don't forget to Email us some Pics

My turn again

Hi all, Jack's finally going let me have another shot at the blog.
First, Daddy turned thirty this week. Hard to believe he is so old. We are way to young to have to be thinking about his retirement, but that's life when you have old parents.
We spent some time over at Grandad's too. I got to learn all about recycling. We all know how "green" Grandad is. Grammie takes it out of the trash and I put it in the recycle bin.
Then it was time to learn stair climbing, up then down, up then down, what is this the Marines
Alas, I think I've mastered it.
 And last,
We have another celebrity among us. Here's a pic of our Zia with Hank Morris from every radio station in the Boston area.
Hope you all have a good week, maybe I will be able to do another blog soon.
Love Ryan
PS We still have no pics in our email.
