They Really Did Show Up For A Game!
Hi All,
Someone once said "Build it and they will come".
Well Tom and Ashley built it, and they sure came.
Diego,Esme, Ryan and Jack posing for a picture in the garden.
Then the baseball players started coming from the garden, one by one until there was a whole team.
First, Diego was taught the rules of 1858 baseball,
With Din Din telling in the background "that's the guy who threw dirt in my eyes, watch out Diego"
Then the game began.
Looks like Diego is taking the brunt of the old baseball players frustration of living in the weeds all those years.
Esme, Jack and Ryan decided to either pick vegetables or look for more friendly ballplayers.
After the game we rode home, hoping Grammie finds her way out of the garden safely. She said something about another ballplayer that she thought would be there.
Hope she finds him.

Another Sleepover
" Nothing Din Din, I am not doing anything with your phone, Jack and Ryan just put it here. No, I wouldn't post a blog without you seeing it first!"
" Thanks Ruby, he's down here now checking on us too, we told him we are checking the water heater the way Grampy taught us. See if you can upload what Ryan sent you, while he is down hear spying on us."
We had another sleepover with Din Din and Grammy. Same old thing, make our own dinner, pizza of course.
Then make some cookies, much more fun than pizza.
Ruby got all settled in for Toy Story 3.
But didn't make though.
Then off to the donut shop and to the park.
"Who said I liked powdered donuts?"
The park is fun!
Challenging!
Scary
And very fun
Grammy didn't want us to post her climbing the rocks, so we settled for this one on the log.
All in all, our second unedited blog was going very well, Ryan sent Ruby info from the basement and she uploaded it, without Din Din suspecting a thing, we thought.
But he had changed the password on the modem, so we threw him a bone to give us the password.
So here is his contribution this week.
We decided not to post his caption for the photo.

Were Now Unedited
Once again, sorry for the long delay in between blogs. The problem was Din Din. We can now use his real name because he no longer has last say as to what goes on the blog. He has been complaining about our dirty little fingers all over his computer, and you spelled that wrong, kinda stuff.
So we talked him into giving us his old computer.
The good news he did it, the bad news is we have to work out of the basement with a flashlight.
And of course he sneaks down to check on us and tries to edit. But Ryan fixed up the control key to work as a backdoor to the Disney website. So here is our first blog without the control freak looking over our shoulders
Ruby is doing great, and seems to smile more than cry, so that's a good thing.
Even with her good behavior, Both of us are exhausted most of the time.
She is fun to watch tv with.
And she is ticklish.
Another thing we have done since last time we blogged was the annual fishing derby. this year Ryan made the paper with dad. One fish each, not as good as last year but still fun.
Another thing we did was, as many of you know Din Din thinks he is Colonel Ludlow from Legends of the Fall. So he wanted a picture of himself with the whole family, like the movie. I was reluctant, but he said I could be Tristan, so I gave in. Here it is. It wasn't as bad as my body language shows.
If you see Tom, don't call him Shrek, he is sensitive about his size.
Next of things you might have missed, we made a sandbox
Ate ice cream
Watched Toy Story 2.
Ruby likes watching movies too.
Last we went to a parade, the people in the Army trucks threw candy to us.
Ruby didn't get her hands on any but we will save some for her.
Love Jack,Ryan and Ruby

Happy Fortieth Chrissie
WATCH YOUR tail Charlie, you keep hitting the cap lock button!
Well I guess it is my job to keep everyone up to date on the family events worth noting.
Our cousin Chrissie has reached a milestone, 40, WOW!!!!
I thought Diego and Esme might like to see a couple of pics from the last century when Chrissie was much younger. Grandad remembers this game and said I couldn't use the quote on the blog, of what she said to the girl who came into the goalie area. But he did say she whacked the girl pretty good though. That's quite a game face.
Ryan and Jack can't stop laughing at this picture.
Too bad there were no cell phones last century or Chrissie could have texted with her beak.
I guess they didn't have Prius's either. Too bad G. A. Susan didn't move back a little bit when she took the picture so we could see if it was a horse or oxen pulling her.
Happy Birthday Chrissie
Love Ruby
PS. Was that a Vega?

The Fun Place
Use that button Ryan, it makes vowels sound long, and people will think we are French.
Jack, Grandad doesn't want anybody to think we are French.
Grandad came by to take us to the fun place today.
Ruby was all excited about her first trip.
Ruby was all excited about her first trip.
Then Mom told her she was going to the Dr.. Next time Ruby.
Signs say you can't be any bigger than this.
Grandad went anyways.
I was caught in the Swiss cheese for awhile.
Ryan finally came up to rescue me.
We like the the fun place.
Grandad climbed all the way to the top to take our picture. The grunting and groaning scared all the other kids away.
Nuggets and fries and it's off to home.
Love Jack, Ryan, and Ruby
