A day at the lake

Two weeks in a row with Grandad, oh boy, what will he make me do today?

First I practice my lessons from last week.
Then a quick cut of the lawn, and I get to relax the rest of the day.

I suggested the beach. It was a perfect day at Lake Throwup with no one around. Grandad sat in the car and smoked cigars. If I got too close to the edge of the water he would scream nasty things to me. I got my new shoes wet when he wasn't looking. When I got up to my knees, he finally came to get me, and took me back to the playground.

All in all a pretty relaxing day to start off the long weekend.
Hope everyone has a good weekend see you all next week. Bummer about the end of summer.
Love Jack

Watching for Al Kida

Good morning everyone, I am back at Grandads this week. This is getting very confusing to me, one week at Bubchies, the next at Grandads. At least at Grandads the technology is much better than at Bubchies. No pictures last week, I am still mortified by that.
Also when I am at Grandads we learn different things that he says are helpful in life. Stairs are one of those things he insists I learn how to navigate.
I would go up OK, and then he would say "get back down here and do it again." This went on for an hour. Down is much harder than up.
He didn't think it was a good idea when I tried it in my little car.

I should have realized when he asked my Mom for my camo pants something was up for today. He has been acting very paranoid lately. So when he stuck me out in the front yard, and told me to watch for Al Kida it didn't surprise me at all.
There was a Paul, Steve, and a Bob, but nobody named Al. I thought my hiding spot was good, but Grandad kept yelling out the window to keep my head down.
After reloading, I got foyer watch in the afternoon. Not as buggy as by the big rock
Well I am going to wrap this up for today, all the fresh air has me wiped out. See ya Jack

At Bubchies

Sorry for the late post and no pictures. I was at Bubchie's house this Friday and her computer is down. All the pictures I took, she had to crop herself out of. One of them had her fingernail in the corner, God forbid that one got on the blog. Hopefully I will do better than this next week, I am embarrassed for myself at this effort.

PS The Gulumpkie's were great

The growth

Good morning,
I am back at Grandads this week, I guess his suspension is over. Almost as many days as Kevin Youkilous got. I had to start early today, as you all know Grandad is still using the Polaroid film system. Not very efficient, first I had him snap a picture of my head, then we wait until it develops, and then we run to Two Guys parking lot to the guy in the little booth. Thank goodness for him, he scans it, texts it to me, and then I email it Grandads computer. Sounds like a lot of work, but it was worth it to me to know that nothing was growing out of my forehead.

If I don't mind saying so myself, that is a good looking beanie. And no growth.
Feels good being back at Grandad's, all the toys are different. My favorite is still the golf balls.

I took a nap, and had the craziest dream, I woke up with a horse head in my bed. Maybe Bubchie shouldn't let me watch the Soprano's anymore.
For the afternoon lesson, was how to maintain the garden. Everything was going fine until Delycia kicked Grandad out of her garden, for trampling down the plants with his big feet.
So then he showed me the mailbox, and told to get the mail. it all looked like junk mail so I left it in the front yard

See you all next week. Love Jack
Update:
G- Aunt Susan came by in the afternoon and took some photos. Here is one of me and Grandad.

Here is one of me getting the firewood. Then we had the test, VRRRRMM. Do I want to be a tree hugger or a tough guy in a truck?

Whooosh!!!
I think I will be a tough guy.

The secret location

Hi everyone,
Still at the secret location, and still no pictures. I should be home this weekend. The past two Fridays have been very relaxing, but uneventful. No horses to scare me, no police mug shots, and most important no pictures. I need to know what is growing out of my forehead. I am hoping when we get back home there will be enough film to document the "growth".
Love Jack

Update Sat.: I am home, Grammie took some pictures of me when she came to visit. Now that I have some technology at my disposal, I can post them.

Hmmm! Why the hat in every one?

Vacation

Hello all,
I have been at my secret location for the past few days. And I have been inundated with emails as to why no blog this week. I am sorry but I have texted everyone to post it for me, as we have no internet connection at the secret location, I must rely on the unreliable. As for the weekly pictures, I don't know what has happened. I am a mere ten and a half months old and my picture has been taken as of this date 832,312 times. This week 0 times, I am starting to wonder whether I am growing a third eyeball or something even worse. Nobody must think I am cute anymore. So please if you happen to bump into me at the secret location this week feel free to snap a couple of photos. More for me than the blog I want to see how ugly the third whatever looks growing out of my forehead.
Love Jack

Update: Good news and Bad
Finally got a picture taken of me. This is the two Jacks enjoying some sunshine at the secret location. That's the good news
The bad news is, I guess what ever is growing out of my forehead is worse than I had anticipated, they seem to have covered it up for the photo.

Banned to Bubchies

Hi everyone, I think Grandad finally got banned for good. I spent the day with Bubchie, Auntie Cassie, and my cousin Haley. The only part I missed about being at Grandads, is I couldn't find Bubchie's stash of Little Debbie's treats. I am sure when Bubchie reads this there will be a full assortment of Nutty Bars, Oatmeal cookies and my favorite the Honey Bun, not to mention the little doughnut packs. The Kielbasi was good, but Grandad has me addicted to Little Debbies.

After lunch me and Bubchie caught a few episodes of "The Soprano's". I'm so
glad they are in reruns...I missed alot of them...

Bubchie didn't like the scenes that took place at Buda Bings and turned it off.
"Enough is enough" she said and told me to sit quietly and read. So I had some quiet time and read a few chapters of "War and
Peace"...it's a tough read...

Cassie's a lightweight...I got to see Underwater Adventures while she caught
some zzeeeeeeesssssssss

Tough day...Me and Auntie Cassie crashed on the couch, I don't know what she's so pissed about, but that look on her face says something. Maybe I ate her portion of kielbasa, or boyfriend problems?
I may look like I am happy with the Kielbasa all over my face, but I sure do miss my Little Debbie's

See you all next week, stay tuned who knows where I might be.
Love, Jack

PS. Once again Cassie the poser didn't take any pictures of Haley, it's all about Auntie Cassie, I will work on getting some of her.

Earmuffs problem solved

Hi everyone I cannot believe I am back here at Grandads, between the HORSE and CVS incidents, I really thought Bubchie would be taking over.
My Mom and Dad talked to him to make sure he does not put me on any more horses. The problem with that is. he has been ranting the whole day, "why did you put the picture up on your blog?" and I am like why did you put me on the horse to start with?
Digging around in Grandads gun stuff, I found the perfect solution. I just nod to him every now and again. His mouth is moving but I don't hear a thing.

Hopefully, my Mom and Dad won't mind this horse G Aunt Susan brought me. Thanks. And also a thank you to G Uncle Mark. He sent this picture to me. Now we all know why Grandads so grumpy and sore. If this picture is correct, it looks as if he might be working again.
See you all next week, maybe from a different location.
Love Jack.
PS. Mom, see if we can get me those ear plugs that you stick in your ears. These are too heavy, but I don't seem to have a headache this week

Flagg field and the Horse incident

Grandad made me do some filing before we got outside, I am like it's the first Friday in a long time we've had sun, and you want to file!!
When we finally got outside, I could sense Grandad's vitamin E or D level go way up. He must of been a couple of quarts low, talk about miserable the last month or what.

I knew he was in a better mood when he suggested we go to Flagg Field, and teach me to pitch. He always seem happy when he's lecturing, I don't understand why he thinks I am going to understand what keeping my foot on the rubber is supposed to mean.

Or for that matter why he has to yell stuff like "that's a balk". Or, " there is an invisible man on first you have to pitch from the stretch".
When we finally got back home I was tring to blog, and the next thing I know is I am mounted upon a monster. Grandad's yelling" show me your Calvin Borel immatation"
This horse is fifteen plus hands what ever that is, and I am not liking it up there.
Back inside, quiet time, finish the blog, take a nap. When can I go home?

See you next week
Love Jack
PS, Maybe it will rain, so I don't have to ride anymore monsters around Grandads yard.
